CURRENT: Tora River Weir, Pipelines and Water Treatment Works (Phase 2) (R44,9m)

CURRENT: Upgrade of National Route  N2, Section 18 from Tetyana to Sitebe Komkulu  (R488m)

COMPLETED: Upgrade of Road to Madwaleni Hospital (Phase 2)  (R30,4m)

2015

COMPLETED: The construction of the main pump station, pipe bridges and inlet works for the Northern Outfall Sewer in Mthatha (R86 million)

COMPLETED: The upgrading of the R61 Magusheni to Mzamba (Phase 1)(R 512 million)

COMPLETED: The construction of the Umgeni Interchange in Durban for the South African National Roads Agency. The project consisted of two incrementally launched ramps as well as major improvements to the M19 and N2 interchange (R400 million). The project was executed in joint venture with EXR Holdings with Rumdel Cape as lead partner responsible for all structural aspects. This project was a Fulton Award Winner.

2014

COMPLETED: Ludeke Dam in Bizana comprising of a 40m high rockfill dam with clay core, concrete spillway and an inlet tower and ancillary works. The client is the Department of Water Affairs with Umgeni Water acting as the implementing agent(R 310 million)

COMPLETED: The upgrading of the N2 national route between the Green and Keiskamma Rivers for the South African National Roads
Agency(R 421 million)

2013

COMPLETED: The construction of a new runway, 2 700m long, 60m wide, capable of landing Boeing 747 type aircraft at the Mthatha Airport for the National Department of Transport (R 350 million)

2012

COMPLETED: Kwambonambi Interchange consisting of a grade separation of the access roads to Kwambonambi from the N2 national route. The client was the South African National Roads Agency (R 125 million)

COMPLETED: 10 Ml/day extension to the Driftsands Sewage Treatment Works for the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Council (R 40 million)

2011

CURRENT: The construction of the Umgeni Interchange in Durban for the South African National Roads Agency. The project consists of two incrementally launched ramps as well as major improvements to the M19 and N2 interchange (R352 million)

CURRENT: The upgrading of the N2 national route between the Green and Keiskamma Rivers for the South African National Roads Agency (R 279 million)

COMPLETED: The upgrading of the N12 between Uncle Charlie’s and Reading Interchange in Johannesburg as part of the Gauteng Freeway Improvement Programme for the South African National Roads Agency (R 525 million)

COMPLETED: The upgrading of 21 km of District Road 03323 to Zithulele Hospital in the Transkei area of the Eastern Cape for the Department of Public Works (R 340 million)

2010

COMPLETED: The Mgeni Viaduct consisting of two incrementally launched parallel decks, each 410m long, crossing the Mgeni Valley in Durban. The launches employed the largest hydraulic cylinders used in South Africa to date with three 350t hollow cylinders required to restrain each deck at a downhill launching gradient starting at 9%. The client was the KwaZulu Natal Department of Transport (R200 million)

COMPLETED: The Warwick Inbound Viaduct for Durban Unicity consisting of a new 300m long viaduct and associated structures constructed in the busiest traffic node in the city (R174 million)

2009

COMPLETED: Phase 2 Ncembu Plateau to Langeni Sawmill. Construction of a mountain pass through pristine Yellowwood forests at gradients up to 12%, including the launching of 100t beams up a gradient of 12% for the construction of a seven-span viaduct. A continuously reinforced concrete pavement was constructed on the steep sections of the pass. The project featured extensive use of reinforced earth walls to limit the environmental impact to surrounding forests. The client was the Eastern Cape Department of Roads and Transport (R830 million)

COMPLETED: Phase 3 Langeni Sawmill to the R61 for the Eastern Cape Department of Roads and Transport, consisting of three new bridges, a new road alignment and the upgrading of existing roads (R415 million). This project was a Fulton Award Winner.

2008

COMPLETED: Earthworks for the Mthatha Multi-Purpose Sports Stadium for King Sabata Dalindyebo Municipality (R45 million)

2006

COMPLETED: Upgrading of 47 km road to surface standard from the N2 to Kei Mouth for the Eastern Cape Department of Roads and Transport. The project was executed in joint venture with Haw & Inglis (R254 million)

2005

COMPLETED: Neptune Road Interchange for the Coega Development Corporation. The project consisted of a full clover leaf interchange as well as road over rail bridges serving the Coega Industrial Development Zone in Port Elizabeth. The project was executed in joint venture with Stefanutti & Bressan (R181 million)

2004

COMPLETED: Upgrading of 30 km of road to surface standard between Flagstaff and Holy Cross for the Eastern Cape Department of Public Works (R131 million)

2003

COMPLETED: Upgrading of the R61 to surface standard between Port St Johns and Mntafufu for the Eastern Cape Department of Public Works (R81 million)

COMPLETED: Construction of Daleside 100 Ml reservoir and overflow pipeline for Rand Water Board (R21 million)

2001

COMPLETED: Rehabilitation of 40 km of the National Route N2 between Harding and Izingolweni for the South African National Roads Agency (R90 million)

2000

COMPLETED: Trans Caprivi Highway in Namibia. Upgrading of 65 km road to surface standard from Katimo Mulilo to Ngoma for the Namibian Roads Department (R89 million)

COMPLETED: Construction of North Coast Road Stage 2 for City of Durban (R12 million)

1998

COMPLETED: Construction of the Pinetown Landfill managed waste site for the City of Durban Department of Water and Waste (R 12 million)

1997

COMPLETED: Geometric Improvements to the National Route N3 Athlone to Hilton for the Department of Transport (R 16 million)

1996

COMPLETED: Rehabilitation of 34 km of the National Route N2 between Murchison and Izingolweni for the South African National Roads Agency (R 36 million)

COMPLETED: Upgrading of the R61 to surface standard between Lusikisiki and Mntafufu for the Transkei Government (R 26 million)

COMPLETED: Upgrading of the road between Stafford’s Post and Umzimkulu to surface standard for the Transkei Government (R 19 million)

1991

COMPLETED: Upgrading of 45 km of the R61 from Flagstaff to Lusikisiki to surface standard for the Transkei Government (R 33 million)

1990

COMPLETED: Upgrading of 80 km of the N10 from Cookhouse to Olifantshoek Pass for the Cape Provincial Administration (R 44 million)

1989

COMPLETED: Mtunzini Interchange consisting of a 4km section of the N2 toll road with toll plaza and bridge over the interchange for the National Transport Commission (R 20 million)
